Location: Montreal (Saint-Laurent), QC

About Accent Impression

Accent Impression is a leading commercial printing company offering offset, digital, large-format, and packaging printing solutions. Our offset production runs on a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106. We are known for our quality, speed, and ability to manage complex print projects from start to finish.

Job Description

We are seeking an Offset Project Manager to open our dockets and follow jobs through to delivery. This is the hinge between sales and the floor: you turn what the client bought into a clear, complete, runnable production docket, then follow it through.

A well opened docket keeps the job moving. An incomplete one gets paid for in lost press time. That is why this role matters here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open dockets from sold orders: full specs, quantities, versions, paper, sizes, and processes
  • Translate client and sales language into precise production terms
  • Write clear instructions for each department: prepress, press, finishing, shipping
  • Check docket specs against the accepted quote before releasing to production
  • Set and track schedules, proofs, and approvals
  • Follow projects end to end and communicate status
  • Act as the client’s point of contact during production
  • Handle revisions, late changes, and reprints
  • Work closely with prepress, press, finishing, and shipping

Ideal Candidate

  • 6 to 8 years of commercial print experience: project management, customer service, production coordination, or prepress
  • Solid understanding of print processes: sheet sizes, paper, colours, finishing and bindery
  • Able to read a quote and build a complete production docket from it
  • Comfortable with a print MIS
  • Well organized, able to run several jobs at once
  • Precise and detail-oriented: a missed spec stops the press
  • Sound judgment and clear communication with both clients and production
  • Spoken and written French. English is an asset for serving our clients outside Quebec.

Conditions

  • Full-time day position
  • Benefits offered
  • Modern and dynamic work environment
  • Experienced production team and current equipment, including a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106

Job Type: Full-time
Benefits: dental insurance, extended health care, on-site parking
Experience: commercial printing: 6 to 8 years (preferred)
Work Location: in person
