Accent Impression is a leading commercial printing company offering offset, digital, large-format, and packaging printing solutions. Our offset production runs on a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106. We are known for our quality, speed, and ability to manage complex print projects from start to finish.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/h3>\n

We are seeking an Offset Project Manager to open our dockets and follow jobs through to delivery. This is the hinge between sales and the floor: you turn what the client bought into a clear, complete, runnable production docket, then follow it through.<\/p>\n

A well opened docket keeps the job moving. An incomplete one gets paid for in lost press time. That is why this role matters here.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Open dockets from sold orders: full specs, quantities, versions, paper, sizes, and processes<\/li>\n
  • Translate client and sales language into precise production terms<\/li>\n
  • Write clear instructions for each department: prepress, press, finishing, shipping<\/li>\n
  • Check docket specs against the accepted quote before releasing to production<\/li>\n
  • Set and track schedules, proofs, and approvals<\/li>\n
  • Follow projects end to end and communicate status<\/li>\n
  • Act as the client’s point of contact during production<\/li>\n
  • Handle revisions, late changes, and reprints<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with prepress, press, finishing, and shipping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Ideal Candidate<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • 6 to 8 years of commercial print experience: project management, customer service, production coordination, or prepress<\/li>\n
    • Solid understanding of print processes: sheet sizes, paper, colours, finishing and bindery<\/li>\n
    • Able to read a quote and build a complete production docket from it<\/li>\n
    • Comfortable with a print MIS<\/li>\n
    • Well organized, able to run several jobs at once<\/li>\n
    • Precise and detail-oriented: a missed spec stops the press<\/li>\n
    • Sound judgment and clear communication with both clients and production<\/li>\n
    • Spoken and written French. English is an asset for serving our clients outside Quebec.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
